Happy Birthday, Urban Gypsy!

It's November 27th, so that means that it's my 21st birthday! Happy birthday to me!! I want to start off by thanking God for giving me another year of life. Today I realize that I am officially an "adult" and it's time I make the best of it. I have many goals I am trying to achieve during the new year of life and it is time to go for it. I can't wait to see what God has in store for me. I started my day off by going to church with my mom, sister, and boyfriend. It was such an amazing experience to be with the people I love on such an important day. After church I went back home and spent a few more hours with my mom and sister before heading to Charleston with my boyfriend for my birthday dinner with my friends. For dinner we went to California Dreaming with a bunch of my friends from school and work. Tonight was such a great night.

I got so many funny and loving calls and texts from family and friends. My roommate Mayia probably sent me the best one, she's hilarious. She also surprised me with a balloon for my birthday. Lol, that's my girl. I also got a card, some cake, and some chocolates from some of my other friends. My boyfriend is currently making me wait for my birthday gift and I have no idea what it could be. I want a dog but I know that's out of the question. So I'll have to wait and see.

Edit: My boyfriend decided to make me wait to get my gift but it was definitely worth the wait. When the day finally came, he blindfolded me and took me to the Louboutin store and got me my very first pair of Louboutins. I am still in shock. I mentioned liking a pair of 'So Kate' Louboutins once through text message and kind of just forgot about it because they're so dang expensive. I wish I could post my reaction but I don't have a video.

All in all I can say I had a pretty great birthday. I am thankful for another year of life and I'm lucky to be surrounded by so many people who love and care about me. 21 please be good to me
